Artisan Acqua is a masculine fragrance by John Varvatos. The scent was launched in 2014, the summer version inspired by beaches and seaside charm. The fragrance opens with a citrus cocktail of tangelo, mandarin, and
paradisamide, while galbanum, lentisque, and angelica root provide a
fresh green harmony to the scent. As it dries, herbal spicy accents of
clary sage, lavender, coriander, toscanol®, and basil complement the
notes of geranium, palmarosa, and jasmine sambac resulting in a sensual
masculine floral. A woody base of moss, patchouli, and fir balsam
lingers, bringing a refined and artisanal touch to the fragrance.
